Hi, this is proving more difficult than i thought. I am putting my Coupe up for sale.
I dont really want to sell her so i would like her to go to a good home. My I dont want to sell her price is £6000. I am located in linlithgow near Edinburgh
I have owned her since 27th June 2010. I bought her from Adam taylor who was selling on behalf of another RCOC member.
Over the years i have made a number of changes so shes not standard.
On ajustable Koni yellows
H&R springs
have rear wheel camber ajusters- so set up to account for being slightly lower
Upgraded the brakes - braided lines and ZS 160 calipers with black dimond discs front and rear with yellow stuff pads
polybushed - not fully but most of front end.
Cookie downpipe
T28 hybrid turbo- I still have the original t25 turbo and elbow
Full stainless including de cat pipe- I have CAT
Silicone hoses
Battery to boot conversion
2 years ago i had to replace the engine and also at the time i got all the rot sorted out and a full re spray.
Including replacement rear bumper with crash bar- photos of some of the work done are icluded.
The engine was from best of british rover- cost me £800.
Total cost for the work was £6000- I know i shouldnt have spent that but couldnt give her up at the time.
I have 2 sets of 17 inch alloys, addendums which i think look great and another set which are past their best but have really good tyres.
I will include both sets if you want them.
I also have 2 cylinder heads , the rear lights with the clear indicatior lenses, spare intercooler, accelerator cable, fog lamp (new) and other bits and bobs - all will be included. I have other bits and pieces in the garage which will also be included.
There is a rover coupe tow bar on her- (i used to have a wee camping trailer) , but have never gotten round to removing it.
Not a big job to remove- just bolted on underneath.
I also have a tailored rover coupe car cover which will also come with the sale
As we all do who have these cars- have spent loads on her over the years and looked after her to the best of my ability and wallet.
